Soft Biomatter Laboratory

Sara Olsen joined the lab in the Fall of 2024 as a Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering Department. Previously, she received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Clarkson University. Currently, she is looking at the effects of bottlebrush networks with non-linear mechanical properties on mesenchymal stem cell behavior in 2D and 3D culture. Sara is from upstate NY. She enjoys spending her free time rock climbing, hiking, gaming, and playing the violin.
