Zhi-Jian (ZJ) joined the lab in Fall 2019. He is currently a graduate student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at UVa. He received his M.D. from XYSM in China. During his medical school, he did research on the genetics of human hereditary diseases. His research is focused on understanding the effects of biophysical cues on human airway defense and remodeling. 

ZJ is obsessed with cooking, jogging, reading, and watching movies. He is also enthusiastic about making friends.
